GROUND
MONITORING SYSTEMS
Bond-Rite
Bond-Rite Remote
 |
Each Bond-Rite system is a
self-testing static grounding device. Each system first verifies a positive
connection to the object to be grounded, then checks for a
complete "ground loop" back to a "high integrity"
ground point. When the connections are proper, a flashing green LED light
will be displayed either on the connection clamp (Bond-Rite) or remote
mounted junction box (Bond-Rite Remote). In both designs, the systems
operate on a self-contained 9-volt battery supply. No field wiring is
necessary, making the system completely portable.

Bond-Rite Remote EP
|
Similar in design and function as the Bond-Rite Remote, the newer version
Bond-Rite Remote EP operates off-of a 110/220 volt power supply and is
generally specified when only a visual indication of ground is needed and
the use of an internal battery powered supply is inconvenient. The system
is designed with a unique “Intrinsically Safe” field wiring set-up and
comes complete with a power supply box and multi-way junction box. The
system enables 3 or 4 Bond-Rite Remote monitoring units to operate off-of
one power supply. The system is FM approved for most hazardous areas.

PLUS /
Single Mode
 |
A static ground indicator system
with “interlock” capabilities, the Earth-Rite PLUS provides a
verification of static ground connections on a wide range of industrial
plant equipment, including: road tankers, railcars, barges, drums, totes
and other conductive equipment. A red/green light indicator confirms the
condition of proper ground connection and field installation and
maintenance is simplified with its unique “Intrinsically Safe” field
wiring set-up. The system
meets the current NFPA 77 recommended practice on static electricity and
is suitable for use in hazardous locations. Click on “more details”

Earth-Rite
RTR™ Tri-Mode
 |
The
Earth-Rite RTR™ ensures the highest possible levels of safe, positive
grounding for road tanker trucks during flammable transfer operations.
Unlike conventional systems, the Earth-Rite RTR™ provides failsafe
confirmation of the static ground condition using patented Intrinsically
Safe Electronics and Universal Ground Clamp.

MULTIPOINT
 |
Certain types of processing
systems incorporate piping sections to interconnect plant equipment. These
systems are periodically taken apart for inspection, cleaning or
maintenance purposes. In these applications, the possibility exists that
the removable parts may not be reconnected properly and therefore, become
isolated conductors, posing a significant risk of high-energy static
discharges in hazardous areas. The Earth-Rite MULTIPOINT solves this
problem by ensuring that all parts of the system are connected together
and to earth.

FIBC
 |
More and more companies are using "big bags" or
"super-sacks" in the transportation and loading of dry powders.
Type 'C' static conductive FIBC's are being used to prevent dangerous
levels of static accumulation which can result in spark discharges from
the surface of the bag and adjacent objects or personnel becoming charged
by induction. The Earth-Rite FIBC ensures that the Type 'C' bag is
correctly grounded and that the structure of the bag is still within the
correct resistance range.

Sole-Mate
 |
The Sole-Mate is a simple to use device, designed to check the condition
of static-dissipative (anti-static) footwear prior to entering a safety
critical hazardous area (explosive atmosphere). Installed at an entry
point outside the hazardous area, the unit provides a "pass" or
"fail" signal dependant on whether or not the resistance falls
within the pre-set limits.
